I was think of buying a Portable Media Player.Between Creative Zen Vision which is 30G,cost like $740 and Epson P200 which is 40G cost about $888.I am not sure which one should i get,The creative vision can only transfer the pic in Jpeg file only, but for the Espon,it can tansfer pic for two format of Jpeg and raw file, cos most of the time i shoot in jpeg.so i still cant decide which one should i get  ,Pls do reply n let me know what u guys think?:dunno: Thanks ;)

Just for your info, there was a lot of debate on this 2 models during he last comex. P2000 seems to be the way to go. Do a search or more research on it...sure you will come to a conclusion;)

Do take note that the Zen Vision, whilst its gripe is being cheap, has tons of limitations that the P2000 had overcame.

Between u, ur heart and ur wallet. Go and think which one u'd go for... Cheap or Quality (which is unfortunately, never cheap) and enjoy ur purchase! :)

But one thing, those who'd gotten the P2000 never regretted.

Can also consider the Vosonic X-drives the 6100 or 6230 or 6310. just some other choices.... www.vosonic.com

As for the creative, i am not sure, but i think you still copy the RAW files to it, just that you are not able to view it.. correct me if i am wrong...

cheers-

and if you can't view the raw files that you copied, no point getting the pmc right? ;)

given the choice, i would go for the epson anytime.

Not if you dun shoot RAW :)
But was just mentioning that one still can copy the RAW files...

I always feel that the Epson is too expensive, i can get the vosonic with 80Gb harddisk and i would still have remain... but just my view.

I am too looking around for a pmc, still keeping my options open as now not enuff $$ yet :bsmilie:

Creative Zen Vision is Geared toward media player more than photographic viewer support. Its media player can play almost any type of video files from mpeg 1/2/4, Xvid and WMV. Currently only Shinco's HD player offer such variety in term of video.

Epson P2000 is more specialise on photo viewer than mass media viewer.

Think they are all over-priced! Buy the Vision when the price is below $600 or USD$330. ipod photo is nice but screen too small.

If you shoot raw, normally you will shoot Raw+JPG, right? So, if you can copy both into Zen Vision, you can choose to view the JPG, this is a workaround.

I am going for Zen Vision rather than EPSON, I feel the design is nicer and it's slimer too. I will use its photo strorage/viewing feature during short trip, and audio/video feature on normal days.
