i see a scratch?

i see a small line about 5mm long in the viewfinder of my eos300.
tried cleaning the viewfinder but its still there. changed lens and its still there so its definately not a scratch on the lens. cleaned the mirror too.... so where's this scratch???? need help pls

still under warranty? if so then request for a one 2 one exchange

unfortunately i tink its not.

got it second hand with unfilled warrenty but without reciept.
the seller said he will get it for me...but it will take time... so i am prepared for the worse...that it has no warrenty..

scratches,dusts, dirts on viewfinder,mirror or even lens won't affect your picture.

I think it might be due to the prism which is somewhere near to the internal Flash system. It definetly wont affect the picture but might irritate you....check out with Canon Service centre...might cost abit to change the prism...Ü

I think warranty unfilled or not is useless. Service centres these days want to see the receipt too although some are more chin chai.

well... i was really irritated by it initially.
but what i was concerned most was if it would show up on my photos..since it wont...i can live with it

now on to taking better photographs!
