hi all. i'm new to this site, been into photog for a few months now. i started out w a friends prosumer cam, but now im using a film cam! haha. okay anw, i just need to know what good affordable color films are there i can get. i mainly use black and white so i dont know bout color. thanks!

so which type of colour film u referring to? slides or negatives as asked by ortega? :think:

personally, I like to use fujifilm..recently found a fujifilm reala 100 at Suntec City..
cost me $7.90 per roll...Fujifilm photo shop at unit #01-177.

oh sorry i didnt specify. hmm im asking bout negatives actually, but i would like to experiment w slides someday. haha. thanks for e help guys!
 

If you shoot a lot, try to purchase bulk roll as can cut cost 50%.
 

My personal prefence is Fuji NPC/NPS. its ASA160 and has good colour with reatively fine grain for a negative.
 

a long long time ago when i was still using film
I used to go to the ColourLab
accross the road from ruby (not Peninsula Plaza the other road)
Now I shoot digital, I still go to ColourLab. It's on the ground level of Adelphi.
 

I think Konota at PP should have them. You can also try CP or ruby. Havent checked it out for at least 5 months though :D Personally I prefer NPC which has much more saturated colours compared to NPS which is more neutral. Harder to find NPC the last time I tried to look for it though.

Opps I just realised its called Pro 160C/S now. NPC/NPS was the old emulsion which do sent exist now...

The new camera shop on 5th flr sim lim square is selling the fujicolor reala 36 at S$6. Got one roll from them last saturday.
