Used to bring tripod but with my genre of photography, find that monopod are more flexible.

Nowadays, i dont bring out my tripod unless seriously need it.

I don't have equipments heavy enough to require a monopod/tripod haha. I normally shoot handheld all the time, unless I'm doing long exposure

I never had monopod till only very recently after looking at this popular micro stock photographer Yuri Arcurs. I have been using tripod pretty much for all my non-event assignments... monopod is and will never be a replacement but cases where I need to move around a fair bit, the slight hassle of using monopods as opposed to just hand-held, translates to sharper (and getting more hits) pictures - especially cases where you're using slow-enough-to-be-hand-held shutter speed on long lenses. And... no, I won't totally agree that monopods are just for use with heavy gear.

My monopod is actually under use. Original idea was to use it as a self defence tools.
