Have a standard checklist .. that way u dont have to stress yourself trying to remember everytime :)

Newbie blunder so moving this to Newbies corner................

Still cant believe it.... first have to handle the personal frustration ..... then don't know where to hide my face ... ended up being photo assistant carry water, carry chair, holding up reflectors, flashes and lights for everyone.... super lao qui

I've been forgetting this and that too... Forget wire remote la, forget filters la, shoot in broad daylight in ISO1600 la, shoot long exposures in ISO800 la...

as we get older, we lose more and more grey cells... wat to do... :cry: ;)

One thing for sure, I never forget about my model. She is my wife. If I forget, I die.
 

how to form a good checklist har?
If I include everything it'll be too long to go through for every shot...
Like golf, we need some sort of "pre-shot routine" but photography is so dyanamic that I gave up with this 'checklist' long ago.
Probably simple things like exposure mode, ISO, EV compensation still ok, but if there are other settings, then sure forget wan...

At the last Newbies Outing, I turned on bracketing function. Then when light wasn't so good I started photographing the others in action. Kept wondering why I got under- and then over-exposure, and kept dialling in EV compensation. :embrass:
