Hi im choosing between getting a brand new Hoya HD slim CPL and 2nd Hand B+W MRC CPL.
The Hoya cost $50 more. I have not try any CPL before, therefore i dont know the performance. Is being slim more desirable?

Its different... he is comparing both slim version where im comparing a slim version from a mid price brand and a non slim version from a high end brand

depends on the lens you going to use and whether you are going to stack ur CPL ontop of ur UV(due to laziness?) but i recommand slim version for any CPL tho.

I guess i will be removing the UV... dun like stacking

Hm, from the poll, seems like people are choosing Hoya Slim CPL (I am assuming it is the HD one). Any particular reason why?

I myself cant decide between the two either. Price difference isnt much but one is slim, the other one is not.

On Hoya HD, can we put the lens cap on? I read somewhere saying we cant put lens cap on a slim filter without front thread

I'll go for Hoya. It's really very good.

B+W Slim KSM CPL do not have front screw threads, hence u need to use their push-on lens cap. Hoya HD slim CPLs have screw threads on them.
