Hi guys, anyone bought a HOYA Circular Polarizer 77mm recently? Like to get one and need to compare the prices. Thanks.

I used to have the Hoya 67mm, but I found the end output pretty bad. Go with something better and with no regret.

Is it true that Hoya is manufactured by Tokina? Buying Tokina filter is the same and much cheaper?

B+W and Nikon filters are of a much better grade over the Hoyas.

Yup!

BTW, Hoya filters are extremely difficult to clean / maintain. Be warned. And if you buying the PRO 1 series, which the money spent, you might as well consider the Nikon or B+W.
