Hi Guys,

I'm just curious how most of you position your camera in your bag? Is it lens down or lens up? :D

down, with cap on.

Depends on which bag and which lens in use...

i put inside my sch bag with books inside....

I place mine with lens facing up.. cause if the bag should slip off my shoulders, the point of contact would be the base of the bag, where the impact of the fall will be.. you won't want your lens to take that impact..

I use a Lowepro 4 with 2 cameras. 1 left, one right facing down.
Always use lens caps and UV filters.

I do not worry about dropping them as I am not that clumsy. (insurance cover just incase :bsmilie: ).

I don't think it matters much as they don't spent too much time in the bag anyway.

Cheers.

Same. I seem to think camera more durable than lens also :bsmilie:

for sling bag. it will be front down. rear up. so easier to take.

for my packback, it will be "sleeping"

when i'm on assignments i put in lens down with hood...but cap off..so anytime i see a photo opportunity i can lift it out immediately...ready to shoot :D
