First, thanks in advance to all.

How to write a proper qualification in a name card?

The actual qualification are:
1. Bachelor degree with honors in Chemical Engineering
2. Master degree in Engineering Management

Both graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)

I think it should be something like:

B. Eng. (hons.) (Chemical) (UTM)

Please advise...thanks again. :)

Kho King, usually no need to put the first degree but it is also acceptable if u want to.

BSc (Hons)
BA (Hons)
MSc

No need to put in UTM etc...

Thanks Jeff.

Do I need to put the field of my study?

eg.

BSc (Hons) (Chemical)
MSc (Eng. Management)

:dunno:

I ask for my gf actually, and her company asks her to put in the qualification.

KK, I have not seen pple put (Chem) etc in their namecards though...

Usually things like :

MEd, PGDE and pple will have some idea of your filed of specialisation.

The Ang Moh ones include stuff like FRGS, FRAS, FRSH etc...just don't ask me what they stand for, I have seen them in someone's namecard but I have no freakin' idea what the f stands for :D :D

A pt on Dr or PhD, unless u are a medical doctor, then u usually put DR Wong Merng Hoon... but if yours is a PhD, like in a lecturer, then it is Alan Chong, PhD etc. This distinguishes those who are medical docs as oppose to those who are academics...

is that Chemical Eng course a Science course or Engineering course?

I think more rightfully should be B.Eng. (Hons) (Chemical)

f stands for Fellow

like FRPS (Hons) stand Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society (Honarary).

Its your name card, its really up to you. What do you want to tell others?
