How to use this set of Lens Cleaning Kit?

Hi,

I've recently bought a set of Lens Cleaning Kit from CP at the price of $8.50. The set includes:

1) A lens blower
2) A piece of orange cloth
3) A bottle of lens cleaning liquid
4) A stack of lens cleaning paper
5) 5 sticks of cotton buds

Can anyone please tell me what should be the correct way to make use of this set of stuff? What is the order that I should use the items and how should I use them? Thanks in advance! :embrass:

I generally use onli 2 items. The blower & the lens tissue.

Lens tissue, clean from outer circumference to the centre of lens.
Dats all I do.
Blower to blow of dust.

it should be frm the center of the lenz to the outer circumference in a circular fazhion ...........

This is how I use these items

1) A lens blower

good for blowing dust away from the lens

2) A piece of orange cloth

good for removing particles that not able blow by above item

3) A bottle of lens cleaning liquid

so far I have not use it ...

4) A stack of lens cleaning paper

good for cleaning lens

5) 5 sticks of cotton buds

usually I will use it to clean my ears

me only have the blower n a microfiber cleaning cloth .........

wat me normally do iz to uze the blower to blow away the duzt on the filter and/or lenz ....

if the duzt perziztently stayz on ..... me will exhale my breath onto the surface n then uze the cloth to wipe in a circular fazhion frm the center of the lenz outwardz .....

me will try to uze the blower to remove the duzt n not touch the filter ( more so for the lenz ) if pozzible .....

so i can say that the lens cleaning liquid is pretty useless? wat would anything untoward happen if i used it to clean my lens? :dunno:

Izzit? I read somewhere from outside in. Reason being if inside out, then "debris" will gather at the circumference of lens.
I dunno, am confused rite now.

so according to ur explaination ..... then the debris will gather at the center of the lenz if clean frm outzide in ......... !!!!?? .......

Yah. Then clean from the centre of the lens. Cleaner dat way.
I oso not sure. Remember reading on the net somewhere about this.

Extracted from Canon site: "Gently wipe the lens surface from the edges toward the center of the lens, with a lifting rather than rubbing action. A micro-fiber cleaning cloth is a good alternative to lens tissue, and requires no lens cleaning fluid."
