How to use flash for indoor wedding auditorim dim lights?

Hi i understand from most that it will need a flash for wedding esp dim light auditorium. Im thinking of getting the SB 600, but as never use a flash before, can anyone advise?

1) Is it difficult to operate with it?
2) When its high tall ceilings, can still bounce? or where else to bounce?
3) How often to use flash in the auditorium?
4) Any other advice will be much appreciated!!

Feed the Search function with 'flash wedding' and you'll be amazed at the amount of threads that deal with it. Take your time to read.

What of the above have you read already? Which websites have you searched and found that the answers are not sufficient?
The first page of postings in Newbies Corner has already one thread dealing with "indoors and low light conditions" and giving some advice related to flash.
