Hi. Was wondering how to take night street photography w/o a tripod?
Hi. Was wondering how to take night street photography w/o a tripod?
Monopod is not really meant for night street photography, u are better off with a tripod. If u just want handheld, then try to use a dustbin, concrete wall railing, top of the car, etc, to support yr camera,Thanks guys for the advice. How does the monopod work? Is it one-legged?
Increase your ISO, select your lenses biggest aperture, use proper handholding techniques, use pillars/walls/tables/chair/any solid stationary objects as supports to reduce handshake, proper breathing and don't snap at the shutter button. These are some of the ways to reduce handshaking. Main thing is to keep your shutter speed as high as you can, or reduce vibration as much as you can.
