Anybody know which place/who offers this kind of class or seminar? thanks.

try joining the workshops and gatherings at Circle of Light. www.ecircleoflight.org

medium format is just like 35mm..just that you get more film coverage and detail on the negs...u can get a holga for a start..or the seagull...for b/w i suggest using kodak tri-x 400..and perhaps you want to start shooting fuji E-6 slide film first..the velvia 100 is good for shooting landscapes..if u want portraits..u might want to try astia...slide is also cheaper

there are many kinds of Medium Format camera, which one are you referring to?

basically, most medium Format cameras are manual operated camera, if you able to handle manual 35mm format, not much different to use a medium format camera.

For operating the specific model of camera, bast refer to the camera owner's manual or do a Internet search for a site which dedicate to this model of camera.

Hope this help.
