how to shoot fireworks video ?

planning to use the video function of a sony compact digital camera to shoot the fireworks tomorrow night...

any idea what the video will turn out like ?
will it be too dark and all turn out dark ?

maybe need you to go and give it a try tomorrow and let us know the result.

i believe if you view it at 320 x 240 should be acceptable
