Meaning i shoot liao n do have clear pict of the rest other then the light trail only zoom in effect of the light?

Thanks a million in advance!

ok will take not n try again! Is 20s too long?:dunno:

i suppose so.
try going for one effect, instead of 2. tt way youd have 2 nice pics, not 1. zoom in for 1 pic, then use long exposure for another. tts just a personal opinion though, other ppl might not agree

also, mount the cam on a tripod, or rest it on a stable surface if u havent already. zoom steadily at a constant speed throughout the exposure time

oh, and do try zooming both in and out. it gives different effects:D

the other effect is your long exposure
this led to u using f/32, which produces the starburst effect on the street lamps. this is really nice if it wasnt zoomed in, but here it makes the pic look pretty messy

do use f/32 again for ur long exposure shots (also cos u will have to), and you will see nice light trails from the cars and nice starburst patterns too

Check out #12 of this thread.
Maybe it can help.

Wow... Saw ur master piece! thanks for the Great tips! Will shoot next week n post again for ur assessment!
