Can anyone please advise me the best way to scan a photo (4R) which will be printed into A1 poster later?

Thanks.
How about drum scanning?
They have scanners..... but not sure if it's efficient?

It will be better if you have the actual film and scan that instead of the photo. Then you can blow it up big without losing the details.

if you can send it for drum scanning, it would be best
but drum scanning is done from positives and not prints

if you have the negs it is best to have it enlarged to the size that you want - best quality
if you have the slides also can do that

or send fro drum scanning.

cheapest option is to enlarge to A4 size and use a flatbed scanner to scan it at the highest resolution that is possible.

BTW how is it printed? Ink jet?

Yup . Plotter. A1
How? I only have the 4R printed photo...

It's actually for the Kiss in the City competition...
They want me to send the file for printing....
Please advise.

I thought Drum scanner can scan print photo too?

drum scanner cannot scan from prints

do you have the negative? if possible send the neg for enlargement and then scan it with a hi end flatbed.
