Hi all,

i am shooting with a 40D and 50mm 1.8 for this photo.
used lightroom to boost the contrast and found that the skin tone becomes greenish.
notice the lip's area?

actually, i have been faced with this greenish issue for most of the photos. not sure why.
i only boosted the contrast. can anyone advise? thanks!

could be several things:
> WB slightly off, when you boost contrast and saturation you can get a colour shift, bringing out more green
> if you are shooting RAW then the LR camera profile could be slightly off for your camera

solution to the problem:
> correct the green tint through WB, HLS or camera settings and safe as preset
> if you use RAW, create your own camera profile

You can also adjust the colour balance with Photoshop.

thanks!

Michael: you mean to set the profile on the camera or LR?

1. Are your walls painted green?

2. Have you try using another flash?

You can also try using a pale magenta filter over the lens.
