The better the resolution the bigger the file (dpi)
You can reduce the file sile (in MB) by applying compression
but this decreases thew quality of the picture.
So the only way to do that is to reduce the size (in cm) of the picture
i am not too sure as well. when i reduce the picture size to below 100k to post on the net, the picture quality become blur and not sharp. u mean i should reduce the size only?
Hi...if on screen use 72dpi...no point using higher resolutions..(no diff) File size should be around 800 x 600 and below for easy viewing...1024 x 768 and above unless you are using it for wallpaper
"Save for web" and you have the most compression and yet not lossing out on the quality..
