how to ps smoke?

i wish to know how to use ps to edit smoke pics... those taken frm a black backgrd, inverted to white and the smoke is coloured...

wow :bigeyes: didn't know that can be done... actually what i meant was to edit the smoke photos taken on black backgrd by inverting and adding colours... i'm still very new to ps and don't really know the functions... ;p but thanks for that site anyway... shd have posted my question earlier... save the trouble of me using mosquito coils and messing up my room :sweat:
