How to prevent accidental turning of aperture ring on some Sony Lenses?

I have some Sony lenses with the aperture ring, but 90% of the time when I change lens, I tend to turn the aperture ring too. That resulted in f16, f11 etc.. when I want to shoot in f1.4. Then when I turn the aperture ring to A, it will go to f4.0 by default.

It's frustrating! Is there any way to 'lock' the lens into A all the time?

tried but cannot. I will still accidentally turn it to 1.8, 2 etc..

In the end I gaffer taped the aperture ring. Works now!

or you could learn how to check the f-stop before taking the photo.
