Hi, just wondering how to people open their aperture blades when it is not connected to the camera? cause i got a 80-200mm F2.8 lens and just want to check through the lens with a touch light for dirt and dust, but i cant see much cause the blade is close. thanks in advance.

There's one lever located at the 3 o'clock position. Just slide it up (counterclock wise).
Better yet, set the aperture to f2.8

Thanks fatigue i learn something about my lens today! ;)

Btw does this apply to tamron lens too? Cause i will be getting one so just wanna do a quick check. thanks again!

It depends on the type of lens mount, not the brand of the lens.

I presume you're getting a Nikon mount Tamrom. It should be the same.

Dust is a minor problem. Haze in lens is the biggest problem. Good luck
