how to make saturated pic?

hi,
just want know how to make a saturated pic???
is it through photoshop?
What is the setting of a cam to allow saturated pic to be taken?
Any advice???:)

You can either increase the saturation setting of your camera when shooting jpegs or you can use curves in photoshop to increase saturation. The classic "S-curve" is a good idea.

It depends on what brand cam you are using, and whether it even has manual control in the first place.

Saturation can be done easily in almost any image manipulation software, under "saturation" tool, another way is Curves or Contrast, though Curves are definitely less clumsy and more precise than the general Contrast tool.

For the setting, look for "Vivid" , that's usually the name.. =)

Under certain light conditions, a polariser will help to produce more saturated colours, especially the blue sky and green foliage.
