how to go?

Raise your hand on the main road...
wait for a car with "Taxi" sign on top....
then tell Uncle/Auntie you want to go Labrador Park.

He/She shld bring you there.........

YEs.. it quite a big park but some places under renovation so a bit messy. The hill (Fort) shld be interesting but renovation has take the beauty out of it. Sunset is still good over there (if the sky is good)

Good place to relax and BBQ (if got own transport)

depends on where u want to take the sunset shot - either from the top of the hill or at ground level where there're pple fishing.

Even if its at ground level, its still quite a long walk in cos the walk would take u to the carpark & u still have to walk further in through the park itself to get to the bridge where people are fishing.

alamak is it something like the woodlands causeway?
sounds so horrible

actually, its not like causeway.

Its a much much much longer walk if you take bus :p

I dunno why... I am suddenly reminded of the Muffin Man skit in Shrek...;p

First of all, go to www.can.com.sg and locate PSA Building with this postal code, 119963. Scroll down th map and you can see Labrador Park. This will give you an idea of how the place is and how far you have to walk.

The nearest bus-stops to Labrador Park are the ones at PSA Building. There are 4 of them. 2 along Pasir Panjang Road and another 2 along Alexandra Road.

The 2 bus-stops along Pasir Panjang Road have bus service; SBS 10, 30, 51 & 143, TIBS 176 & 188.

The 2 bus-stops along Alexandra Road have bus service; SBS 51, 93, 97, 100, 166 & 507, TIBS 61, 521 & 963.

The walk from any of these 4 bus-stops to Labrador Park takes about 10-15mins.

There is also a small hawker centre with 10 stalls at the start of Labrador Villa Road. They have very nice Malay food there.

Cheers! ;)
