how to get rid of lens flare?

You got any filter installed at the lens? Try remove & see....

i think is better to take off your filter...else mount a lens hood and see how.

Try using a CPL filter.

you are shooting directly into light source, no filter no lenshood will help expect lens cap.

better lens will able to minimize lens flare, but will not eliminate totally.
