Hi,

Saw these pics. Have tried to create the same effect but no avail.

Any gurus here know how to achieve it? The smooth surface eliminating the shine on highly reflective surfaces.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

u sure these are photographs?
looks like 3D models to me.

read some where before. you go to blow the image up and then blur the reflections. quite alot of bluring. and then u got to sharpen the edges(this part i dont know how to) and kinda put back the details.

and that image.. looks very 3D.

to me it looks like 3D too ( really)

tis kinda should be done in 'studio' type of setting, big soft box with few kW on 1 side, and multiple strobes around. evidence by seeing the shadows...

sometimes softbox not enuff... still must apply matt spray, put in gobos (big one)... another one is using photoshop, slowly do a vector on each over exposed panel, and do blending color match.
