How to direct the external flash to subject?

Hi all,
I've some problems in directing the external flash to subject when taking potrait style(external flash to the side when i turn the camera) esp when taking outdoor coz nothing to bounce the light. :sweat:Hw can i counter tis esp when i want to capture the subject(fill in flash) with bright background? Thks...

get a bounce card?
u can try using omnibounce,flipit,betterbouncecard,lightsphere

Point the flash direct at your subject. It is not neccessary to bounce or diffuse the light if you just using as a fill in.

Omnibounce, lightsphere acts as a diffuser as well.
