oh.... icic.. wil try it later..
what if there's no area which is white??
use black dropper to click on the area which is black? can?
and what if there's no 100% black area to click on??

There are many ways to correct color.

You can use the color balance. (pump up the blue in this case.)

You can use the levels and adjust the different color channels.

You can use curves and select the lightest, middle gray and darkest points.

You can shoot in RAW and colour manage from there.

:D

White, black or grey all can :).

If really don't have, then you have to add blue to your pic already ;).

haha.. i find out this method liao.. the icon not very noticable.. haha..
anyway.. this is better than any color balance method.. :D

The histrogram shows the distribution of brightness values within the image. In your image there is a predominance of near white features such as the light coloured background. This will naturally give you a peak near the extreme right. Whether a image is over/underexposed depends on how you want it to be and not by looking at the histrogram.

Anyway, IMO, the colours have been overcorrected, such that it has a slight blue tint now. The colour under the white tent shelter should be slightly warm, so a mild yellow cast is actually realistic and acceptable.

IMHO, there is no 'best' method.

Different situations require different color correction methods. I guess that is why PS included so many methods.

Happi playing :D
