Hi All,

I'm shooting in RAW with my Canon 350D, and converting them into TIFF format, so as to retain as much info for PP for print.

However, I need to convert them into JPEG for uploading onto the internet.

I find that if i were to use the "Save as" function, I cant save as JPEG, as it is not defined as one of the option.

The only way for me thus far, is to use the "Save for web" function. Doing so, I lose my EXIF info.

I'm using Photoshop CS on Mac OS X Tiger.

Am I missing something here, or is there no other option?

Sorry if this has been discussed, but I can't find any relevant info relating to this problem searching through the forum.

Cheers,

Kenny

do you have layers?

No, haven't gotten any layers on, as I usually do some colour correction and sharpening in CS only, so I just work on the original image.

just use "save as" and select jpeg. It works if you have layer.

anyway flatten the image remove everything else
only just one layer - background
convert to rgb 8 bit colour

save as > select jpeg

Hi Ortega,

Hey, thanks for your help!:D

Yes, I did managed to save it as jpeg, and uploaded onto the net with full EXIF!

Thanks and please pardon my ignorance.

Cheers,

Kenny
