hi all, been taking pictures in JPEG, but recently when i went out on a trip with a friend, i attempted taking pictures all in RAW format instead. but when i wanted to upload the pictures, i couldnt open with photoshop CS. there was a key image and a caption text below saying " NERO ENCRYPTED FILE" any idea how i should do it? thanks alot.

what camera are you using?... for newer cameras, you would have to update your Photoshop, or if that is not possible, use the free Adobe Digital Negative Converter (DNG Converter) to convert the RAW file to Adobe's own RAW format that Photoshop CS can open... or alternatively use the RAW processing program that came with your camera...

Different DSLR have different application to convert the RAW to jpg. Read your camera manual.

Nikon cameras come with Picture Project, which is able to handle Nikon RAW files...

Go to Adobe website and download a RAW plugin for your version of CS.
