How to clean sticky tape residues off?

Used the wrong tape and now I have sticky residues on the rubberized portion of my camera body. Tried water and clothes to gently rub it off but to no avail. Anyone knows how to effectively removes the residues?

I try to use another piece of sticky tape to stick it out. Sometime it work, but I hope it wont make it worse.

try lighter fluid...

I use tiger balm on piece of clotch.

It works for me, do let us know the result.

It didn't work. Still got lots of stubborn residues between the etched rubber surfaces

You gave me the inspiration. I tried some turpentine... it works!

Should try lighter fluid. Think it's gentler than turpentine.

Don't know other methods mah :embrass:, as I said, it doesn't alway work, it have a big contact area on the sticky residue it's more likely to work.
