How much do photojournalist get paid?

Any members out there know how much or HOW singaporean photojournalist get paid? per assignment or monthly based salary?

what perks they get?? etc??

im doing freelance photojournalism here in thailand for a local paper... they dont pay too much. its per assignment... gonna do one on aids - people in aids hospice this weekend.

eh... highly doubtful that starters 2-3K..... highly doubtful...

2-3K.......Ringgit? No way. Unless you have 8-10 years experience, you get about $2500-$2800. Perks? Depends on which company you work with. SPH probably offers the best perks and etc.

As for freelance, you must be have good command of English to sell your works with an article to your story.

As most photojournalist in Singapore works in a company, so press pass is given for full access. Freelance photojournalist can get press pass too but you need to apply for it.
