How many of you people, bet or even bet more during CNY?

If you're a non punter or gambler, do you gamble for "fun" (i.e. Blackjack, majong) during CNY period?

If you're a gambler, do you place big bets than usual?

Its usual practice for me and family to gamble on a higher stakes for CNY. Its ok, with family members win or lose, for the occassion.

yes among the relatives on CNY family gathering, just for fun once a year thingy, and the big winner would usually treat us all for dinner in the end of the day :bsmilie:

Ever knew a person of not-good character who struck $800,000 on 1st or 2nd say of CNY.
Unfortunately, he gambled it all away later and probably lost more.
This is the sort who although he has been blessed with such a windfall, still find the need to cheat friends. Bad karma.
