How long to charge ?

Initial charge of battery need to charge for how long ah ?

Ummm......I don't think you only can charge a camera battery until it is full?My battery charger cuts off once battery is full.

hmm, for any batteries i use (not only for cameras).
i give them a initial charge of 8hrs, and only charge again when it's fully drained.
I do this for 3 cycles. batteries going good =)

Oh.I only give a longer first charge to non-camera batteries.Maybe just by habit.

thats y, i was instruct to charge for a certain hrs for the initital charge, eg 8hrs, but even be4 6 hrs, it cut off by itself liao leh, i dun tink it is charging ? it is also not hot, the batt. :dunno:

What kind of batteries do you want to charge??

For any rechargeable batts, just charge until it's full. Don't have to bother by the "first charge X hours" theory.
