Just wondering if most of you out there love photography as an art (artists) or as a way of living (pro) or both.

Is it possible to be an artist and still price your work? How do you set the price? Auction? Or just say 'just give me whatever you truly feel it's worth'?

If someone with only $100 dollars in his bank account offers all to you whereas a rich guy offers twice that, isn't it more valuable to 'sell' it to the poor guy?

(Don't know how to set poll, so just post message and we'll get a feel of what CSers think. Thanks!)

yep. price it to the market. after selling a few pieces, you will have a good idea. as a rough gauge and a start, u can get the price of photo prints from photogs selling their prints online. you can also check out the price of IKEA's photo prints.

nope, sell it to the rich guy. the poor guy needs his $100 to eat.
