Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question...

but my dry box has this meter reading from 0 to 100 (i assume it's humidity level) and i can set it to high, med, low etc... which changes the meter reading gradually..

but i'm keeping a digicam inside... and a nikon F8 /w lenses.

How much should i lower it down to? 30%? 40%?

I know that while high humidity might cause fungi growth, too low might damage the lens, right?

thanks!

The typically recommended humidity level is 50-60%. Anything less you'd run the risk of drying up the leather & rubber parts on your camera and lens.

Try to see what settings you would get with "medium".

Hope it helps... Cheers.
