Hi all,

I am a newbie so please bear with me a little.

I know that we can use the EV function on the camera to compensate for the exposure, but how does the camera acheive this?

I mean, does it adjust the aperture, or shutter speed?

Thanks in advance.

EV only work for Aperture priority, Shutter priority, and Program mode

i only know how it works for A & S

A, you set your aperture, so it won't adjust, so instead it plays with the Shutter
S, you set the shutter speed, so it won't adjust, so instead it plays with the Aperture.

for P mode, i think it will play with both, but keeping in mind of the minimum shutter to go, think it will set to at least 1/30 or 1/60, den open the aperture...
