Hi fellow CSers. I am always drowsy in the morning. I drink coffee, take a light breakfast, and even have enough sleep (6 hours) the night before. Still, I am drowsy. Also, I take multivits, fish oil and gincko biloba pills in the morning.

How do you deal with drowsiness?

It could be you're not resting well. Some possibilities could be environmental like aircon too cold, noisy fan, etc.

Recommended hours of sleep is 7-8 hours for adults leh. Prolonged sleep deprivation will potentially lead to other long-term complications and general bad state of health. Also whether you are getting the sleep in the day or night makes a difference due to your natural body clock. Fragmented short naps to make up the required sleep duration also affects sleep quality negatively.

If you tend to feel groggy throughout the day, you probably need more sleep time. Or maybe less beer during lunch. :bsmilie:

Check to see whether you suffer from sleeping order.

I have the same problem. Luckily for me my work allows me to work till 4am and sleep till late in the morning.

You can find all the beautiful and friendly girls appearing in the chatrooms at 3am if you're still online. Don't know they are vampires or not. :bsmilie:

I beleive a person who is not too old will need at least 7 to 8 hours sleep a day. Before going to clinic, try to have continous few days of 8 hours sleep and see whether the situation improved or not.

Another thing worth trying is to look for pilow that you feel confortable to sleep on, some may like hard and high pilot, others may feel confortable with soft pilot.

I was just wondering are there any special supplements to take other than Caffeine and Taurine. haha
