Haiz...

today missed a great opportunity to take photos of a rainbow... :bheart:
but then again... aint really sure how to photograph one anyway. :bsmilie:

Think that to photograph the sky.. will prob need to set expososure correction to +1? Perhaps add in a poloraiser to enrich color?

Any other steps that you can suggests?

I have taken rainbows before (2 of them), one is real powerful in that there is a secondary rainbow visible.....but problem is that the background sucks. Where can you get a good background in Singapore anyway when you need it instantly. :bsmilie: So rainbow is great, the background is not.

I just use matrix metering and shoot, look at the histogram.

And if it's a full rainbow, you gotta use at least 15mm on dSLRs with 1.5 crop, or 20mm in 35mm terms.

Heee.. I got some shots here...

A polarizer can sometimes enhance the appearance of the rainbow. :)

I thought it would make the rainbow (or certain colours of it) disappear?
