hi, i am new to this CS forum. saw some photos in the 'Ready, Lights, Action!' forum for a recent car exhibition, but when i tried to post photos of my own related to the event, i realised that attachment is disabled.

i found the link below for posting of photos (http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=94574) , but they have a 100k file size restriction per photo, which greatly diminishes the resolution of the photo quality. was wondering how attachment is done because the photos i downloaded from this forum are definitely more than 100k per photo.

i have tried searching this forum on photo attachment but couldnt find the correct referrral, pls advise, thanks a lot! :sweatsm:

you can either lower the resolution (e.g. to 800 x600) and save it in lower quality (e.g. 60~80%) and upload to ClubSNAP photos holding site.

Or you can try other photo holding sites with fewer size limitations like:

zcf, thanks for your prompt reply! so can i assume that with other photo holding sites like flickr, of which i have an account, i do not need to downsize the photo to 100kb per photo? it's great to find a forum like this where the all the photographic enthusiasts gather and share their works :)

cheers,

yes, flickr don't have the 100Kb size limitation and CS don't limit the link size. Enjoy your posting. :)
