looks like hdr was used, stuff like those ray and farmer hat dude pictures require hdr, or massive digital blending
a lot of hard work, no doubt
since digital sensor is much more limited compared to film - and i guess no one will deny that, in terms of dynamic range, detail, etc in most cases
photoshop is part and parcel of producing a good image today
and no, with photoshop not everyone can be pro
you snapshot hand to a talented photoshopper
see what **** he can produce
after 10,000 years and 8000 wacom graphic tablets it will still be a snapshot
i find the comment about "photoshop anyone can be pro" quite degrading to the artist at hand
i think you'd find something more than just "good photoshopping" in his images
there is a certain vision and style in all of it
and defintiely some very strong AND fresh compositions
it might be entirely realistic all the time
but that is artistic license, i find this within tolerable limits
personally don't think this counts as "extensive manipulation" in my book
