A change of pace from my usual monochrome contributions. The setup is rather simple, a bowl of water and some cut chillies. Dipped the chillies under the water to create puddles of water surface area. Needed to highlight those areas of water and experimented with various flash setups + light intensities + camera angle to get the desired effect - white highlights yet still revealing the chillies below the surface to create sense of depth. This is the advantage of digital photography ie. trial and error to perfect the image. Learnt a lot by making this one image.
