Some new owners of a newly launched camera are finding hot pixels with their cameras.

I was curious and googled to find out how hot pixels look like.

Watched a few videos which claimed to have hot pixels in the video clips in the same camera on youtube and I couldn't locate the hot pixels. The videos looked perfectly okay to me.

Did you change the resolution to 1080 HD for video?

Did you maximize the video to fill your screen?

Hot pixel is just a bright pixel.

At full resolution, unless you are specifically looking for it, you won't notice one dot.

Sometimes people see what they want to see and then get a shock when they find it. It is just a bright dot and hot pixels has always been with us. That is just physics.
