Recently read a magazine which has an article on taking star trail. The writter used multiple 30sec shots (combined time of > 1hr) to create the trail. He mentioned that sensors are not meant to be 'on' for long period of time. Does hot pixel developed if they are turned on too long? Any experience on this?

Cheers

my thot is that the harder the sensor work the earlier it'll die. that's why i dun take night scene shots.

hope some soul can verify this cause i might be wrong.

Bro u dont take nite scene shots cuz u'r afraid ur cam will die faster? U'r joking rite?

Niwae not sure if it dies faster but u'r missing out on 1 hell of a photo opportunity if u have not attempted star trails. Fm my experience, it gets noise, cant remember e specific name for the noise tho. There's a technique to clear tis noise oso.
