Sounds like a porn flick but is more scandalous. I wonder if those sold in Singapore has any horse meat in them. I have tried kangeroo, camel but not horse. Wonders how it taste like?

What's the big hoo-ha over horse meat anyway?

Most of the horse meat that contaminated the beef comes from romania, where horses are bred for racing, etc, and are usually pumped full of antibiotics that are extremely unhealthy to humans.

They didn't tell people there was horse meat mixed with the beef. That's the problem.

now you know why Ikeas meatballs taste so good.

yum yum

To many ang moh, eat horse = eat dog = barbarians.

Japanese and Canadians eat horse meat.

Starving soldiers in Napoleon's army must have eaten their horses in Russian winter.
Likewise for starving Nazi Germany's soldiers during Russian winter.

Have no idea what horse meat tastes like.

It is just that cattle, chicken and pigs were domesticated as farm animals to be slaughtered for food.
Maybe just an accident of history that horses were not raised for their meat.

Horses had more value as transportation in the past.

My uncle always told me not to buy road stall satays near the Bukit Timah Turf Club on Mondays and Tuesdays when I was young since counterproductive race horses are slaughtered every Sunday nights.

I wonder if there is any truth in that or just a wildly propagated rumoured myth and urban legend like the Bukit Timah Monkey Man (BTMM) that he always mentioned as well?

no wonder i can run so much faster after ikea meal. hmm
