Hoping to get D70

Hi guys, I am new to DSLR and been wanted to get D70 with kit but wondering if the len is gd for macro? If nt, any lens to recommend (ard < $300 tight budget) tks?

The 18-70 is a wide to tele photo len, it's not a macro len so you won't be able to take macro shots with it.

I've only the 60 f/2.8 and the 105 f/2.8 micro that I feel is up to the job, but they're both kind of over the $600 mark.

perhaps if ur budget allow.. try to get hold of Tamron 90mm F2.8 Macro.. it's a very powerful lens.

Try a closeup filter over your kit lens if you are on a budget.

I hope you meant the Nikon 5T or 6T. Macro filters apart from the 250D and 500D don't work well on SLRs I feel.

Hi guys thanks for all the reply. How much does Tamron 90mm f2.8 cost and what is the working distance between the subject and the len in order to get 1:1? :dunno:
