Ho Chih Minh, Bao Loc, Da Lat &Mui Ne

The South East part of Vietnam is where Mui Ne resides. So, this trip allowed me to visit Ho Chih Ming city, Bao Loc, Da Lat and Mui Ne in a loop fashion. The main highlight of the trip is the sand dunes of Mui Ne. I am sure not many people know that there are sand dunes in Vietnam! The sandy paradise is in Mui Ne, which is just 4 hours away from Ho Chi Minh City. Mui Ne is a resort town that spans 15 km along Vietnam’s southern coast. There are two sand dunes you can easily access from Mui Ne, namely the Red Sand Dunes and the White Sand Dunes.
The White Sand Dunes is a vast expanse of barren land. Undoubtedly more pristine and breathtaking than the Red Sand Dunes, the White Sand Dunes is also less accessible. It is an hour drive from the center of Mui Ne. And when you arrive you will see noisy ATVs speeding around, creating interesting patterns in the sand.
The Red Sand Dunes is just 20 minutes from the town center, and the sand is really more orange and brown than red. The gentle slopes make it easy to walk compare to the White Sand Dunes, and it is a spectacular place to be during sunrise or sunset.
