Hitachi 4 GB MD compatiable to NIKON DSLR?

Hi

Just for my understudy in case I am going to upgrade to DSLR in the future.
Can Hitachi 4 GB Micro Drive compatiable to D70, D100 or D2H? :think:
Please advise.

It should be. It's like any other CF card except it is an MD.

yes it is.. just that it is very slow on the D100..

Hi Gadrian

How slow is the 4GB MD on your D100 when you first power up the playback. It takes about 12-13 seconds for the image to appear after I've taken the shot. Once I've taken the first shot, the subsequent ones are almost immediate.

Wonder if the rest of the people who uses the 4GB MD have the same problem with the D100?

I have no experience with MD, but I have heard from others that MD, like harddisk, need a initial wakeup time to get it spinning if you had idle for a while.
