wad kind of histogram should i have in order to make sure the photos taken are vibrant color?

It all varies from scene to scene. A bright scene would have the curve more to the right. And a dark scene like at night would have the range more to the left....

So you need to understand how it shows you the information first...
 

there's no one ideal histogram actually but vibrancy as you mentioned, then you can see if your RGB ones are peaking lor. then again, alot of colours doesn't mean its vibrant..contrast play a part etc etc so dont worry so much about that, get the right exposure and white balance will probably give you more colours first before saturating them in pp
