Hi there, I have a question here.

Recently my friend told me that he decide to buy a high speed CF card for his A75. He told me that the transfer speed will be faster.

Qns is does high speed CF card got any effects on consumers cam like A75? I thought such card are only useful in prosumer and DSLR camera?

Help needed before he go and buy the card.Tks

May be u can refers to this

just that A75 is a more extreme case

It is the camera that is slow, no point to pay for a card that cost as much as the A75.

FYI, I have an A80 too and it makes no different whether I am using a high speed CF or Sandisk standard (which is the slowest CF card u can find)

erm....Sandisk comes with many differnet series

the slowest one is known as "standard", it is ridculously slow when I use it with DSLR last time (compare to my Ridata, Twinmos and Transcend CF), but make no different if i use with A80.

Sandisk also have Ultra, UltraII and Extreme series, they are the fastest in the market but also the most expensive

brands that are above average are fast and cheap, but i will go for the one with longer warranty (and better exchange policy) since the price will be about the same
