Hi peeps, just joined CS like not long ago. Hope to learn more bout photography from the mentors here, will post pics taken with my new toy soon, will need lots of advise as i'm those sort of read and trial an error kinda shooting . . didn't know much bout apertures and stuffs just adjust and shoot. I think u should get a book to read up first. Else after some time u might get frustrated as u're unsure of how to get what u want.
Or u can consider signing up for some introductory courses. It helps a lot in understanding too.

Thanks for the warm welcome, lol ok i have digi cam and recently bought an entry level dslr a Canon EOS 1000D shooting with tamron 18-200 lense . . been learning myself doing test shots and also shooting . . found out that the exposure,aperture and shutter speeds are hard to manage. I will need multiple shots to end up with a acceptable one, hard to adjust but will try my best to learn. Hmm books ? I prefer people with more knowledge to share with me coz reading makes me sleepy haha =D will try to make time for outings to learn more !

Exposure, aperture and shutter speed will be second nature to you if you keep shooting.
Books are a good starting point. But join outings to have others guide you as you shoot.
You cannot post the flickr link. You need to right click on your image and copy URL of the image itself.
Anyway, saw the pics. You need to read up on your basics. Esp composition.
